Each cup is wheel thrown using a warm and toasty speckled brown stoneware clay.
Little trees & stars are individually hand placed around the mug making each one unique!

Finish:
Glazed in a combination of 3 signature glazes. Lead Free, Food appropriate, and kiln fired to over 2200°F!
Please note - glaze melt with vary per firing making each mug unique
MICROWAVE & DISHWASHER friendly!

    Barbarah Robertson Pottery Shenandoah Valley Strasburg, Virginia

    Handmade Rustic Pottery for table, garden and giving!

    Our main focus is the production of functional kitchen and tableware meant for day to day use. Items that become part of the user's story... Pieces that will be passed on and used at family gatherings for decades to come. Born and raised in Alexandria Virginia, Barbarah moved to the Shenandoah Valley and began taking pottery classes in the early 1990’s. Now a full time potter based in Strasburg Virginia, Barbarah is an official juried Artisan of the Artisan Center of Virginia and a long standing member of the Shenandoah Potters Guild. She participates in various arts and craft shows/exhibits & gives educational workshops in the Valley and Northern Virginia/ DC metro area. Her husband Bruce Robertson, joined the studio full time in 2014. Bruce manages shipping and inventory. He also assists in glazing & decorating, and creates a line of hand-built studio work.
